CAPMER-Centre d'Appui aux Petites et Moyennes Entreprises au Rwanda

The Centre for the Support to Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, CAPMER in short, started its activities in October 2000 as one of the components of the Rwanda Integrated Programme for Industrial Development, a joint project of MINICOM and UNIDO.
The mission entrusted to CAPMER from its inception is to promote Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) in Rwanda through a package of various Business Development Services (BDS), which it provides to SME enterprises and promoters.

 CAPMER is universally recognized as Rwanda's “Centre of Excellence” for business development services targeted at SMEs, thereby ensuring 

that it plays a central role in the achievement of the National Vision 2020.

 CAPMER is instrumental in the creation of a private, sustainable mar

ket for business development services in Rwanda, serving as a key information hub and brokerage for private BDS providers and SME owners and managers.
