Société de Pyrèthre au Rwanda Is a Pyrethrum processing Company established in 1999 by four private associates.Sopyrwa underwent an acquisition process to take over the business from OPYRWA, a company founded in 1978 by the merger of ASPY (a planters Cooperative) and USINEX (A Processing Organization)

The vision is to contribute effetively to the agricultural, social and economic development of Rwanda.
Mission 
To provide Pyrethrum growers in Rwanda with improved livehood and offer insectide manufacturers throughout the world top quality pyrethrum products at competitive prices.
Products
- Refined Pale Extracts: it is primarily used in the manufacture of aerosol products, vaporising mats, liquid evaporating formulations and certain specialty veterinary and pharmaceutical preparations.
- Crude Oleo Resin (O.R.): Crude O.R. is a dark viscous liquid containing 25% w/w Pyrethrins. It can be used in the formulation of mosquito coils as well as space sprays and dusts.
- Pyrethrum Marc: This material is the vegetable remains after the extraction process. In a finely gristed form it is an ideal and highly accepted filler material in mosquito coils.
